8 was an intervention in an abandoned Hotel in Thüringen. Literally toying with the saying that
the walls can listen, I placed reproductions of ears made with plaster all over a guestroom.
Ears are recurring object-subject in my work as they are the physical representation of the perception of sound. The installation questions the relationship between the public and the private, and simultaneously reminds the visitors of the Stasi interception methods of the form DDR State.
